go cowboys!

Today was a big day.
Bentley watched his first football game.
Bentley sported his Tony Romo jersey all day.
Ryan was one excited Daddy.
He has been waiting for this day since we found out it was a boy.

Update on Bentley:
Thank you for all the continued support.
After a full week of the expensive formula we didn't come across one bad poop. This was good news. It meant there wasn't intestinal issues. Last Monday I started nursing again. The next day he had two bloody poops. Ugg. So frustrating. Talk about an emotional day. Bentley is not only allergic to dairy but my breast milk as well. His doctor explained to me that even though I had cut out all dairy in my diet he can still acquire an allergy to my milk during the process. Seriously?!? That is what I asked too. But apparently this happens. I still wasn't ready to stop nursing. I have had a strong motherly instinct during this whole process to fight through it. So I am. Thank goodness I was with my family when all this was happening. I was with my mom and Ryan's mom. I had good motherly support. So I decided to slowly introduce my milk. I have been nursing mornings only for the past 5 days and I haven't seen any blood. Praise the Lord. I'm still not eating dairy and pumping throughout the day to keep my supply up. Hopefully next week I can introduce evening feedings. I'm just happy I didn't give up and it's all working out. My goal from the beginning was to nurse for a year and I'm still sticking to my goal. Bentley will be 6 months this week and starting solids...Yay!
