i have a new challenge ahead of me.
no dairy for the next 6.5 months.
bentley is lactose intolerance.
last week I found blood in his poop and we headed to the doctor.
it was a scary few hours but thankful it didn't take long to figure out the problem.
the poor little man is allergic to cow's milk (dairy). thankfully it is a minor issue but big adjustment to my diet. since i'm planning to nurse him for a full year I have to cut out all dairy products. milk is in EVERYTHING!
supposedly this is just a phase and he will grow out of it by the time he is 2 or 3 years of age. he is still pooping blood but it's gradually fading. the dairy is supposedly in both of our systems and takes a little while to clear out.
please keep us in your prayers as we tackle this challenge.
