Sleep!

Hope everyone had a great Easter.

Bentley had a great first holiday. It's such a blessing to have a new addition to the family.

We spent Easter with both of our families over at my mom's.

Over the weekend Ryan and I were able to go on our first date night.

It was good to get out and remind ourselves that we are still husband and wife. ;)

The evening before Easter I spent the whole night pumping and feeding.

Yep, I started getting mastitis symptoms again (3rd time).

But thank goodness I was able to stop it before it got worse.

If you ever get this breast infection call me because I'm a pro at it now.

You probably are wondering why I'm still breastfeeding and I ask myself that same question every time I get it. But I just power through it and do it for my little guy.

I have a huge praise! Bentley is sleeping through the night!

Yes, that is right. He is sleeping 7 hours straight and only 7 weeks old. I'm a proud mama!

The first night I woke up freaking out thinking something was wrong.

Now it has been 4 nights and he is still sleeping but I'm not going to hold my breath ;)

It's just rewarding to see progress after following the babywise routine.

Sleeping is fabulous! I missed it so much!

Little Princess

My sweet friend, Lindsey Fusch, had her precious little girl last week.
Eleanor Claire born March 15th weighing 6lbs 3 ounces.

LOVE HER!!

Away we go...

We are in week 5 and things couldn't be better.
My sweet boy is growing alot. He is 23 inches long and it's crazy to believe.
It was a rough first few weeks but nursing is so enjoyable now and he is doing great!
The nights are long but getting better. 12am, 3am, and 7:30am is the routine.
Every now and then the 3am feedings moves to 4am.
Hopefully soon we can skip the 3am feeding. :)

I'm having so much fun with him! He loves being on the GO (like his mommy and daddy)!
Thankful he loves his carrier so it's easy to pack him up and head out.
His favorite are walks in the jogging stroller.
When he gets fussy we just pack up for a walk and out he goes.
He loves soaking in the sun too. We love sitting on the deck soaking in the Vitamin D.
Reed is re-landscaping our backyard now and we can't wait to enjoy it.

I'm going to brag on my little man. He seriously is super strong. He's already holding up his head. Also, when I feed him out of a bottle he will sometimes hold the bottle. His tummy time is alot of fun because he will lay on his tummy, hold up his head and smile. It's like he is having a blast. I'm a very proud mommy!
