Update

I just want to give an update on Bentley and want to thank everyone for the prayers and support. I think I spoke too soon last week thinking we had it figured out but apparently we didn't. Bentley continued to have bloody poops (11 days straight) even after I cut out all dairy. We headed back to the doctor on Monday for another visit. We aren't sure what's going on but Dr. Neely is convinced he is allergic to dairy or has an allergy against my breast milk. So to figure out what's going on I have to stop nursing for one week, pump to keep my milk supply up, and cut out all dairy. Ohhh this is the biggest pain! Right now Bentley is taking Nutramigen formula. This stuff is super expensive and smells gross but he seems to like it. Next Monday I can start nursing again if we haven't seen blood 4 days in a row. If the blood comes back after I start nursing again we'll have to re-evaluate. So far we haven't come across a bad poop...thank goodness. Please pray we figure this all out and I can continue to nurse Bentley. Oh... it's been an emotional few days. I'll be sure to keep you updated.
